Welcome to South Korea, we were staying just off the mainland on a little island popular with Koreans for holidays called Jeju. With one of our online teaching jobs, we teach South Koreans and many students recommended Jeju Island as a lovely place to visit. The island was formed from a volcano and the rocks and cliffs are very dark and different from most areas we have seen before. Annoyingly we arrived during a bad weather period, foggy, cold and rainy, not the best time for an island getaway but the landscapes were beautiful, providing the fog didn’t block the view.
Here is a video of our time spent on Jeju Island back in May 2018 which also coincides with Sassi’ birthday.
