Back in March, we spent a few weeks exploring New Zealand. We started in Christchurch which we used as our base to visit places in the city but to also venture out to areas further afield such as Akaroa, Arthur’s Pass and Kaikoura (We saw Seals!) This is an area of outstanding natural beauty, the fresh air and wonderful views were simply majestic, although a car is needed to visit most of the amazing places we ventured to.
After experiencing Christchurch we flew to Auckland and housesat for a lovely couple with two dogs and two cats. We had the chance to roam around the Auckland area, from taking boats, to climbing volcanos to get an impressive view of the city. Even while walking the dogs we saw some beautiful beaches like Phia Beach at sunset, this is a must if you are ever in the Auckland area simply awesome!
We even drove all the way to Rotorua to jump into a hot water creek and see the geothermal qualities of this area, steam everywhere it is an interesting sight to be seen just make sure you don’t jump in the really really hot water.
In Coromandel, we found a Windows 10 background which is located at Cathedral Cove, Hot Water Beach to watch people dig for hot water and some amazing viewpoints along the drive to each location.
Here is our video from New Zealand a country of beautiful nature.
